Customer Questions

Everything You
Need to Know

Kashmiri Papier-MΓ’chΓ© (locally called Kari Qalamdani) is a centuries-old craft from the Kashmir Valley. Artisans layer recycled paper pulp into intricate forms, then hand-paint using squirrel-hair brushes with mineral pigments and gold leaf — a technique known as naqashi. Each piece is a unique heirloom that may take weeks to complete.

Every piece is 100% handmade by master artisans in Srinagar. No machine printing, no mass production. Each carries unique brushstrokes and will vary slightly — the hallmark of authentic craftsmanship.

Yes, we ship worldwide. India orders arrive in 5–7 business days. International shipping takes 10–20 business days with full tracking. All pieces are packed carefully to protect the lacquer finish.

Absolutely. Custom colours, motifs, sizes, and inscriptions for weddings, corporate gifting, or special occasions. 15–30 days lead time. WhatsApp us at +91-9055522202 or email [email protected].

Returns accepted within 7 days if the item arrives damaged or defective. Photograph the damage on receipt and contact us. Colour variations are normal for handmade goods and are not grounds for return.

Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture. Dust with a soft dry cloth only. Never use water or chemical cleaners. With simple care, your piece will remain vibrant for generations.
