Everything You
Need to Know
Kashmiri Papier-MΓ’chΓ© (locally called Kari Qalamdani) is a centuries-old craft from the Kashmir Valley. Artisans layer recycled paper pulp into intricate forms, then hand-paint using squirrel-hair brushes with mineral pigments and gold leaf — a technique known as naqashi. Each piece is a unique heirloom that may take weeks to complete.
Every piece is 100% handmade by master artisans in Srinagar. No machine printing, no mass production. Each carries unique brushstrokes and will vary slightly — the hallmark of authentic craftsmanship.
Yes, we ship worldwide. India orders arrive in 5–7 business days. International shipping takes 10–20 business days with full tracking. All pieces are packed carefully to protect the lacquer finish.
